Contributing to the Praxis Wiki

In each issue of Kairos, we will feature a particular category of narrative. We welcome contributions from researchers and teachers in any discipline (and at any level from kindergarten through university) who are teaching writing-intensive courses using technology or who are composing their own research using these tools. Individuals interested in contributing to the PraxisWiki can contribute narratives based on any of the categories we've established. Although we will feature a new category in each issue, we also welcome narratives based on any of the formerly featured topics as well. See the List of Narrative Categories...

Submitting Contributions:

Interested authors can submit contributions, which should be the rough equivalent of 1-3 pages of material, to kpraxis@technorhetoric.net. Narratives should include the following:

  • The category under which the author is submitting.
  • A title for the narrative.
  • The author's name.
  • The author's school affiliation.
  • An email contact.
  • Narratives can (and should) contain hyperlinks to online materials (when relevant) and can also include (or link to) multimedia files, sound files, or still images.

    Additional Submission Guidelines...

The Praxis Narrative Review Process:

Each narrative that is submitted to the PraxisWiki will undergo review by the Praxis Editorial team. Although our goal is to publish as many relevant narratives as possible, the editorial team may reject articles that are not sufficiently connected to the established categories or that we consider innapropriate to the goals of the journal. Authors will receive reviews with comments and suggestions for revision and will be asked to submit revised narratives for publication.

Becoming a Continuing Praxis Contributor:

Individuals who have contributed an article to the PraxisWiki will be invited to become continuing contributors. This will give them access to the wiki to add new narratives and to suggest new categories for narratives. We ask that these contributors also notify the editors (via kpraxis@technorhetoric.net) when they submit new narratives to the PraxisWiki. The Praxis editorial team will also review submissions by continuing contributors and offer notes and suggestions for revision.
